Submission conditions

Terms and Conditions for Selling Children's Clothes by Weight to Glam Up Kids AB

These general terms and conditions apply when a customer sells their children's clothes by weight to Glam Up Kids AB. The terms apply to customers who send in or submit children's clothes to us for assessment and purchase. When the customer sends in or submits children's clothes to us, an agreement is entered into between Glam Up Kids AB and the customer according to these terms.

Submission and Handling of Clothes

The customer understands that they must sort the clothes before sending them to us. The clothes must be whole, clean, and preferably no older than 5 years. We accept children's clothes from size Premature - 44 up to size 152. Baby booties, caps, tights, hats, beanies, mittens, dribble bibs, and scarves are also accepted. Anything else that is too pilled, washed-out, has holes, stains, or is too linty must always be sorted out by the customer first; these should NOT be sent in. If they are sent in anyway, they will be sorted out. We do not accept shoes, baby shoes, socks, blankets, baby carriers, footmuffs, bedding, towels, comforters, sunglasses, jewelry, or anything else not mentioned above. If sent in, they will be sorted out regardless of condition. The customer should package the clothes well and then contact us via our submission form to receive the shipping label. We also ask customers to collect clothes before sending them to us, preferably at least 50 garments per submission in one large, full box/carton rather than several small ones.
The customer sends the clothes via DSV using shipping labels in the form of QR codes that the customer receives by email, with Glam Up Kids AB covering the shipping costs, or by dropping them off in Lund by arrangement via our support.
By sending in or submitting the clothes, the customer agrees that Glam Up Kids AB will sort, assess, and handle the clothes according to these terms.
The customer sells their approved children's clothes to Glam Up Kids AB and receives compensation based on the approved weight according to the current price per kilo.

SALE OF CHILDREN'S CLOTHES BY WEIGHT:

The entire process

When the customer submits or sends children's clothes to Glam Up Kids AB, the customer's name and contact information are registered in our customer database for handling submissions, purchases, and payments. This is managed in accordance with GDPR.

Once the clothes have arrived, we review all items and conduct a quality assessment. Glam Up Kids AB determines which products are suitable for resale. Clothes and products that do not meet our sales requirements are handled by Glam Up Kids AB through methods such as reuse, recycling, donation, or sale in bundles through other secondhand channels.

After Glam Up Kids AB has determined the compensation and ownership has transferred to Glam Up Kids AB, we photograph, price, and register the products for onward sale.

The customer is compensated based on the approved weight of the submitted clothes according to the current price per kilo (weight × stated price per kilo). Once Glam Up Kids AB has completed sorting and determined the compensation, ownership of the submitted products transfers to Glam Up Kids AB.

After processing, information is sent to the customer detailing the approved weight, compensation amount, and payment instructions.

After ownership has transferred to Glam Up Kids AB, Glam Up Kids AB decides how the products are resold, for example, through our webshop or other sales channels.

Payment of the per-kilo price

After Glam Up Kids AB has sorted and weighed the approved children's clothes, the customer receives compensation according to the current price per kilo.

The customer receives this information via email after Glam Up Kids AB has sorted, weighed, and registered the submission.

Payment is made via bank transfer within 3 weeks from the date we receive the customer's account details. When sending the customer an email with information about the per-kilo price, Glam Up Kids AB also requests the customer's account details for payment for their children's clothes.

Right of withdrawal and cancellation of submission

The agreement comes into effect when the customer sends in or submits their children's clothes to Glam Up Kids AB.

The customer can request to have their clothes returned until Glam Up Kids AB has begun sorting and handling the submission. The customer will then be responsible for any return shipping costs.

Once sorting, assessment, and handling have begun, the submission cannot be recalled as the clothes are processed together with Glam Up Kids AB's other inventory, and administrative costs have already been incurred.

If the customer does not sort the clothes or sends in items we do not sell

If the clothes are not sorted (i.e., it is clear the customer did not review the clothes at all) and the customer sends in items we do not accept, we reserve the right not to pay anything for the submission. This will be discussed with the customer in question via email. This is to reduce the receipt of clothes in extremely poor condition, clothes that have been stored and molded, clothes that are incredibly dirty, or clothes that are not of the size we sell, which has happened more frequently now. This incurs very high costs for us in handling, storage, and logistics to find new homes or recycle clothes we cannot sell. These clothes should not be sent to us for sale; you must take them for recycling yourself.

Forfeiture of unclaimed payments

The customer is responsible for monitoring their provided email address, as we email the customer with information on how much we are purchasing their children's clothes for and with instructions on how the customer can proceed to receive their payment. Glam Up Kids AB is not responsible for emails that end up in spam/junk folders or if the customer has provided an incorrect email address.

The customer must claim their compensation within 12 months after receiving an email from Glam Up Kids AB with payment information. If not claimed within 12 months, the customer's compensation will be forfeited and transferred to Glam Up Kids AB.

Theft, damage, or loss

Glam Up Kids AB is responsible for the customer's clothes until we have purchased them from the customer. At that point, ownership of the children's clothes is transferred to Glam Up Kids AB.
In the event of damage, theft, or loss before ownership of the children's clothes has transferred to Glam Up Kids AB, the customer will be compensated at 30 SEK per kilo according to the weight of the box when the customer sent it to us. This information is registered with the transport company where the customer submitted the box/boxes, and we can determine the exact weight.
